If you did not know, I am a food and lifestyle blogger and much of my instagram feed is purposely inundated with mouth watering pictures of the many brunches, dinners and lunches enjoyed by the people I follow daily. I gain inspiration from these people as they add pictures of places I should add to my lengthy “Must Visit” food list, as well as different recipes to make my own and post up on The Sweet Scene.
Check out my top 6 insgrammers who I always check on whenever I’m scrolling through the gram. While you’re at it, follow them and follow me too!
Filled with envious table scenes from even more enviable destinations, this dynamic instagram couple (R’el Dade + Marcus Lloyd) not only post photos of food, but they take you on a journey to the places they were just telling their friends or family members about along the way.
When I visited Chicago for the first time last year I made sure to follow a few foodies on instagram in order to know where the hot spots were to grub down. One of the first and best ones I began to follow was Samantha Roby of Chicago Food Authority. Samantha definitely has proven she has the utmost authority to suggest where to visit when it comes to food in Chicago and I gladly abide by the rules.
This plant-based, dairy free, gluten free and refined sugar free mom is a new addition to my timeline, but she has quickly become one of my favorites to follow. I am not vegan, but Taline is pretty, pretty, pretty close at convincing me to give up meat forever and fall in love with the beautiful colors of the many fruits and vegetables Mother Earth has to offer.
Between her witty captions and slap your mama and lick your screen food photography, Martine Boyer is a no-brainer when it comes to whose follow button to turn green. You will not be able to visit her feed without leaving with a growling belly and an immense need to head down to NOLA and have a PO’Boy or 2!
Jackie Gebel’s instagram not only has a clever title, but her feed is filled with photos that speak to the name….all scrumptious, savory, and sweet dishes that would make you a fool to leave absolutely anything left on your plate!
I had the pleasure of meeting Krissy at a blogger cooking class and she was just as pleasant as you would imagine after reading her eloquent and almost poetic instagram captions. Her photos are minimalistic and take you on a journey, transplanting you right there on her beautiful farm in her quaint cottage
