**Disclaimer: I am not SOLELY eating an avocado each day. I am eating regular, healthy foods as well, along with ADDING an avocado a day (either in my breakfast, lunch or dinner).***
A statement/ title attached to avocados when discussed amongst the health food scene. It has a plethora of benefits attached to it such as a great source of fiber, low in sugar and dense in nutrients-Vitamins A, D, E and K. It also is a great source of antioxidants. Since this amazing fruit (yes, technically avocados are considered a fruit!) is full of antioxidants (helps protect us from free radicals in the air), Vitamins E (reduces effects from sun exposure) and Vitamins C (needed for elastin and collagen), avocados are an amazing ingredient for HEALTHY SKIN!
So, since I am growing increasingly interested in skincare, I’ve decided to experiment and eat avocados everyday for two weeks (started 11/15/15) and document any changes in my skin and body.
