Now that I am transitioning to a new job, I must give up my amazing gym membership (
something about saving money and not spending frivolously or whatever). Although I’m sad to give up the amazing perks of going to an all woman’s gym (with fruit infused water, spa-grade bathrooms and no men to make me feel awkward), I am not discouraged.
Many people think that in order to lose weight or build muscle/ tone up, you have to join a gym or spend ungodly amounts of money on some fad workout class. Fortunately for those who may feel unfortunate that they might not be able to afford said gym membership without a great work discount(such as myself), there are other ways in which you can get gym results…at home!
I’ve taken some of the workout routines from my favorite classes (barre sport, tabata etc) and brought them straight to my living room.
Now I can workout everyday with no excuses of not having time to drive to the gym!
