SweetEats: Kickin it with Kevita (Part 2)

The first time I blogged about Kevita Drinks was back in March when I had my first sip. Ever since that fateful day, I have been a hooked and a huge fan of the company. Check out part 1 here!

I have introduced this brand to all of my friends and all of my co-workers with most of them jumping on the band wagon as well. It is understandable since Kevita is beneficial for your digestive system and metabolism, keeping your body flowing regularly throughout the day. If you haven’t used the bathroom in a while, try Kevita, feeling a bit bloated, try Kevita!

On top of all the health benefits, it tastes delicious too! There are different types to choose from, Sparkling probiotics, Cleansing tonics with Apple Cider Vinegar, and Master Brew Kombucha. My favorite is the kale & lemon tonic, as well as the red beet tonic (both of which have apple cider vinegar).

Kevita reached out to me to do a post reviewing their products and giving my honest opinion and I immediately had the best idea. Since I already blogged about why Kevita is amazing and the health benefits it has for everyone, I figured the Part 2 of this collaboration would be a fun, summery recipe. ICE-POPS! If you’re like me, and drink a bottle of Kevita for breakfast, these ice-pops are a fun way to cool down during these humid summer mornings. It’s as if you’re cheating and having dessert early in the morning…but you’re not!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

– Your favorite Kevita flavors

-Ice pop molds

– choice of fruit (cut up into pieces)

Pour your favorite flavors in each mold about half way, and then add your choice of fruit to each ice pop. I used kiwi, mango, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

Then you want to let them freeze overnight.

Once you remove them from the freezer in the morning (running them under hot water to allow it to detach from the mold easily) you will have a delicious, probiotic and antioxidant (due to the fruits) packed breakfast. Have a bowl of yogurt and granola to go with it, and be on your way!

If you’d like to get your hands on your very own Kevita drinks, head over to your local whole foods and stock up!

Question of the Day: Are probiotics part of your daily routine? Have you tried Kevita? What is your favorite flavor. Don’t forget to follow them on instagram

xoxo
