You can’t really tell from this photo, but the exquisite views from the tippy top of the Nags Head dunes are breath taking. At the top, you can see brave souls hang gliding and adrenaline junkies catching air while wind and kite surfing on the bay. It’s no King’s Peak, but it was a trek for me that proved to be worth while once we got to the top.
On one side, you can see all of the colorful houses on the beach-front side, then turn the other way, and you can see the beautiful bay. As we trudged back down to the house, avoiding the possibilities of running into a gray fox, I decided that a shower and a quick outfit shoot was a great way to end the day before a gorgeous sunset and dinner.
This outfit isn’t anything fabulous, but it is comfortable and laid-back, similar to the lifestyle of those in OBX. This skirt is one of my favorites as it gives me the appearance of a little booty, which squats are taking a little too long to give me (perseverance will prevail!!).
Some may say it’s a fashion faux pas for your bra to show through your t-shirt or sweater, and in a normal setting, yes…but when you’re in paradise, anything goes…right?
Question of the Day: What fashion rules do you enjoy breaking? What is your “on purpose” fashion faux pas?
