If you haven’t checked out my blog over the weekend, then you’re probably surprised that my blog template has changed! Yes, I am transitioning into a cleaner, “basic”, black and white blogging template. Later down the road I’m going to create my blog to be exactly what I want it to be…but that’s about 100,000 views away.
This post is going to be a quick weekend recap. I would say my weekend was a little busy-ish; it was filled with friends, boyfriend, shopping, a complimentary pure barre class, and a photoshoot in the middle of the tracks of the T. (
yes, you heard me right)
My boyfriend and I are going on a vacation soon and he wanted some new pieces to add to his clothing collection and obvs needed my expert opinion on what to get (
everything I pick and nothing he picked, basically), so on Saturday we headed up to Wrentham outlets.
While at the Jcrew outlet, I finally picked up a pair of slip-on sneakers.
These gorgeous perforated babies will keep my feet aerated and comfortable while walking around the sites of OBX. These will also be featured in a TON of future outfit posts as they go well with any outfit.
We also lived a little and enjoyed these delicious tacos (warning: a case of drooling mouth will ensue)
Sunday, I had a photoshoot with an awesome Boston based photographer named Steve. He has an amazing series going on called the “No Makeup Series” where he takes photos of women in their natural and most beautiful state, make-up free. His cause is something I can stand behind and that’s why I reached out to him to join the movement. You can check his website out here. I will be posting about the “No Makeup Series” in a future post to come, so stay tuned!
After my shoot, galavanting through Coolidge Corner and taking risks to capture the perfect shot on the T tracks, Annie and I attended a complimentary Pure Barre class hosted by Pure Barre Brookline and LuLuLemon of Chestnut Hill.
If you have never tried a barre class, I strongly recommend it, women and men alike! If you want a toned booty (like I’m working to get), tight thighs, arms and abs, then head to your nearest pure barre class and sign up now! It might be a little pricey (
okay, it is pricey), but some studios offer discounts and specials for newbies.
Never heard of barre? Here is a video for you to get a sense of what you’re in for. No better time to take hold of your physical health than now, right?
Question of the day: Have you tried barre? What is your favorite move?
