As I sit on my deck and soak in the much needed Vitamin D from this foreign thing called sunshine, (as of lately here in New England) I decided it’d be a perfect time to do a fashion post!
This past Saturday, the weather started to show some promise that it’d be warming up soon, so I made out like a bandit (
he he, get the title) and steal every ounce of sunshine I could. Although the sun was shining and it was in the low 60s, the chilling winds reminded me that it was too soon to bust out the short shorts and tube tops ( are those even a thing still???)
Instead, I opted for a loose and airy, yet covered up ensemble. I also really wanted to wear my new babies that I bought a month ago after spotting them in a mall in New Jersey (I posted about it here).
This amazingly soft Free People cable knit turtleneck sweater is the perfect outerwear when the weather is still a bit nippy and you need warmth, yet you don’t care to sweat while the sun beams down on you from space. The subtle rips allow air to circulate throughout your upper body, cooling you down, yet keeping you warm. Also the ivory color, paired with my denim boyfriend jeans just scream: SPRING, I’M READY FOR YOU!
When it started to get a little too cold, I threw on my forever21 booties to keep from losing my toesies to frost bite.
Hope you enjoy the rest of these pictures!
