“Energetic, modern, upbeat, fun and most importantly, simply delicious, Zinburger offers a mouthwatering selection of gourmet burgers, salads and sides, decadent shakes and desserts, and a carefully crafted selection of wine.”–Zin Burger
That is in the “About Us” section of Zin Burger, a restaurant my best friend, brother, his girlfriend and I stumbled upon while exploring the Garden State Mall.
As we entered the mall, the line was out the door and it was only 3pm, so I knew the place had to be good!
After I ordered a glass of Sangiovese
(yes, yes I know…it wasn’t 5 o’clock), my friend and I shared an order of zucchini fries.
I have never had zucchini fries before, but when I say they are DELICIOUS, I am not saying that just because I am a food blogger. The parmesan cheese scattered on top with the ranch dipping sauce only added to the delicious party in my mouth.
As I waited for my Blanco Burger, I took in the atmosphere. The service was amazing and attentive, the tables were bustling with people and it felt like an upscale fast food restaurant. I felt at home; as at home as one could feel at a burger and wine restaurant.
This, my friends, is the Blanco Burger. The Blanco Burger consisted of
Pepper Jack Cheese, Pico De Gallo, Guacamole, Lettuce & Chipotle Mayo and of course I added bacon
(spring “diet”. whaaaattt?).
Aside from the fact that the burger was juicy and tender, the bacon was REAL! It was crispy and had just the right amount of saltiness. The bun was toasted and buttered just the right way (similar to the buns of 5 Napkin Burger).
Overall I’d say this burger has to be one of the best burgers I’ve had in my 20-something years of life.
Question of the day: What is your favorite place to grab a burger? Have you been to Zin Burger?
